Practicum Placements

Students participate in practicum placements at various sites, including community agencies, schools, and private practices. These placements provide diverse experiences and opportunities to work with different populations.

Counseling License

Limited Permit to practice Mental Health Counseling granted on July 11, 2024; anticipated licensure eligibility in July 2026.

Skills Development

Through their counseling experience, students develop skills in assessment, intervention, and case management. They also learn to build rapport with clients and create a therapeutic alliance.
